In-seat beer service returns to Dodger Stadium

Major League Baseball (MLB) club the Los Angeles Dodgers has reintroduced in-seat beer service to Dodger Stadium following a change in regulations.

The service was reintroduced for yesterday’s (Monday’s) 5-2 defeat to the San Francisco Giants. In-seat beer vendors are now available on all levels of Dodger Stadium, providing both a domestic and premium beer option.

The Dodgers are joining other professional sports teams in California in re-introducing in-seat beer service through mobile vendors following a recent modification to Dodger Stadium’s liquor license by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

The Dodgers announced the move while continuing to encourage fans to drink responsibly and participate in the Budweiser Good Sport Designated Driver program at Dodger Stadium, a partnership with T.E.A.M. Coalition, Levy Restaurants, ACE Beverage Distributing, and Anheuser-Busch.

The objective of the program is to create, implement, and maintain effective alcohol awareness programs and policies for Dodger Stadium. To be a ‘Good Sport’, fans pledge they are 21 years of age or older, they will provide responsible transportation for all members of their group and will not drink alcoholic beverages.

Fans can sign up at any Fan Service Station, and will receive a coupon for one complimentary soft drink and be entered in a draw to win a special on field experience as the Budweiser Good Sport designated driver of the season.
