Planet Oasis has set out plans to build a $10m (€8.8m/£7.9m) specialist esports venue at its new sports and entertainment complex in Delaware County, Ohio.
The arena will, according to the Esports Observer, form part of the $2bn complex development and take up 30,000sq ft of a planned 350 acres.
Blue Horseshoe Ventures, which will lead the development, said the venue will feature a competition stage, video wall, PC and console gaming stations and a television broadcast production studio.
However, the firm stopped short of confirming a timescale for the work.
When complete, the wider complex will boast indoor skydiving, an indoor water park, skate park, a wellness centre, hotels, a conference centre and at least 70 restaurants.
Ohio is no stranger to hosting professional esports events. This weekend, the state capital will stage the Call of Duty Database-Link-e1521645463907 World League Championship at the Nationwide Arena.
