Panthers add in-seat ordering to app

Carolina Panthers fans will be able to order food and beverages from their seats while watching the game after the NFL team unveiled new game-day enhancements for its official mobile app.

The scheme will initially be available on the 100 level concourse at the Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium. Fans will be able to link their payment to the app and select their order, before being notified that their order is ready and directed to the nearest pick-up point.

Fans will then be given the chance to skip the line at the concession stands and open a sealed locker containing their order. The move is designed to ensure that fans miss as little of the action as possible while their order is being readied.

The app will also facilitate the NFL’s new digital ticketing initiative, with the Panthers replacing the print-at-home PDF option with mobile ticketing. Fans will be able to better manage their tickets through the app and Ticketmaster.

Once in the app, fans will be able to access the ‘Ticket’ menu and ‘My Account’ before being given a number of options for managing their digital tickets, including adding it to the Wallet for iOS users. Fans are also able to sign in directly to Ticketmaster on their smartphones through the ‘My Account’ page.
