Bucks unveil new family space ahead of arena opening

NBA basketball team the Milwaukee Bucks has partnered with department store chain Kohl’s to introduce a new interactive, family-friendly space at the soon-to-open Fiserv Forum.

Kohl’s Court will be located in the northeast corner of the arena’s main concourse and will feature a range of interactive activities during Bucks games and other events at the facility.

The space was unveiled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Fiserv Forum yesterday (Thursday) ahead of the arena’s official opening on Sunday.

Kohl’s Court will feature two replica Bucks lockers, a live DJ during games, size comparisons to allow young fans to measure their heights against their favourite players, an oversized basketball hoop and family photo opportunities. The space will also serve as a central location for the Kohl’s Fan of the Game.

Bucks president Peter Feigin said: “We are thrilled to partner with Kohl’s to bring such a great, family-friendly space to Fiserv Forum. This space will be activated for a wide range of events at the arena and we are looking forward to seeing it enjoyed by children of all ages.”

Kohl’s vice-president and district manager Brad Holtzen added: “Kohl’s is excited to partner with the Milwaukee Bucks to offer a fun, engaging and family-friendly space in this incredible new arena. We’re committed to helping families lead fulfilled lives, and Kohl’s Court is one more way we are bringing families together while they enjoy best-in-class entertainment.”

Fiserv Forum will have a capacity of 17,500 for basketball games and up to 18,000 for concerts. Featuring 34 luxury suites and three clubs, its grand opening concert will take place on September 4 with The Killers set to headline.
