Game Changer MVP heads to Stade de France

Sports entertainment, interactive gaming and marketing specialist Game Changer MVP has reached an agreement to introduce its Filter Fan Cam technology at Sunday’s international friendly match between France and the Netherlands at the Stade de France.

Game Changer MVP will be on-site to provide fans with in-game entertainment initiatives, with Filter Fan Cam technology to be used in partnership with AONO and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).

Fans will be provided with custom filter options to promote KFC and the French Football Federation during the match, which marks France’s homecoming game after lifting the FIFA World Cup in Russia in July.

Custom filters will allow fans to transform into Colonel Sanders, place a KFC bucket of chicken on fans’ heads and apply French face-paint to supporters.

“Game Changer MVP is thrilled to provide fans in France with the best of our entertainment offerings for such a momentous homecoming,” Matt Coy, executive vice-president and general manager of Game Changer MVP, said. “We are honoured to work with Stade de France and KFC to bring the power of their brands to fans at this special event through our entertainment platforms.”

Filter Fan Cam applies photo filters to live shots of fans during events, using facial recognition tools designed specifically for video board integration. The initiative is designed to heighten the game-day experience for supporters.

Game Changer MVP has this year partnered with events such as the Major League Baseball Home Run Derby and All-Star Game, X Games Minneapolis and Calgary Stampede. Other events it has covered include the NBA Playoffs and NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
