Mercedes-Benz Stadium joins forces with local brewery

Atlanta-based craft brewery Wild Heaven Beer has entered into a partnership with Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The collaboration will lead to the creation of a new craft offering for the state-of-the-art stadium, which opened last year and serves as the home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and Major League Soccer outfit Atlanta United.

ATL Pale Ale will be available for $5 and will launch on Sunday, September 16 for the Falcons’ home opener against the Carolina Panthers. The beer has been brewed with input from fans.

At just five per cent alcohol, ATL Pale Ale is described by Wild Heaven Beer as a “light, crisp beer that is easy to enjoy for drinkers new to craft beer with enough body and flavour for the craft beer lover”.

Wild Heaven Beer co-founder Eric Johnson said: “My hope with this beer is to offer amazing flavour that surprises and delights anyone who likes beer. We know fans are there for the action and a beer should only enhance the experience.”

After launching ATL Pale Ale at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on draft this weekend, 16-ounce cans will soon be added at the venue. Officials are also reviewing opportunities to bring the beer to the general public later in the year.
