LAFC rolls out VR app to promote new stadium

Major League Soccer franchise Los Angeles Football Club has launched a new virtual reality mobile application to showcase its new Banc of California Stadium.

Powered by ROK360, the ‘Banc of California Stadium VR’ app allows fans and customers to explore spaces inside the venue from anywhere in the world.

Areas covered by the new app include the pitch and premium club spaces, with users able to select different camera angles for an inside look through VR.

In addition, when viewing premium spaces, users can toggle the view to see the areas in various setups, such as a dinner or conference room.

The Banc of California Stadium opened in April of this year and in addition to serving as the new home of LAFC, has hosted various other non-sporting events.

These have included music concerts from the likes of Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and Marshmello & Logic.
