Muse to offer fans VR experience on 2019 world tour

English rock band Muse has announced details of its Simulation Theory World Tour, which will feature a virtual reality experience for fans.

Muse has partnered with Microsoft on the initiative, which has been dubbed the Enhanced Experience Package.

The experience will give fans access to an exclusive mixed reality pre-show party, which will feature three original virtual reality games inspired by tracks on the soon-to-be-released Simulation Theory album.

The front-row-seat package also includes a premium concert ticket, show-specific poster, interactive photo experience and memorabilia. The Enhanced Experience Package pre-sale begins on November 13 and will be open to the public.

The tour begins on February 22 at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, with a further 16 dates planned for the US and Canada between then and April 10. The tour then travels to Europe, taking in cities in Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, England, Latvia, Russia, Finland, Poland, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain.

Fan-to-fan ticket resale platform Twickets has been appointed as the ticket resale agency for the tour.
