Barclays Center to host Juventus Night

Juventus has teamed up with the Brooklyn Nets in an initiative that will see one of the NBA basketball franchise’s games at Barclays Center themed around the Italian Serie A football club.

‘Juventus Night’ will take place on December 7 for the Nets’ meeting with the Toronto Raptors, and the date has been chosen to coincide with the Serie A champion’s clash with Inter Milan.

Juventus said the initiative will mark the first time that an Italian football team has entered into such a venture. For the entire evening, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn will be ‘dressed’ in the Juventus colours before and after the game, on the lighting outside the arena as well as on the screens at court side.

The Barclays Center’s 40/40 Club will also hold a Watch Party for the Juventus-Inter game, which kicks off at 8.30pm CET at Allianz Stadium in Turin. Guests will be able to attend a meet and greet with club ambassador, former Juventus and France forward David Trezeguet, meet mascot Jay and see Juventus’ trophies up close.

Fans that want to participate will be given a special pack that includes, as well as access to the other experiences, a scarf for the event. Tickets for Juventus Night have been priced at $50 (£39/€44) to $140.
