CSM Live engaged for Lima 2019

Global branding and live experience specialist CSM Live has been appointed to work on this year’s Pan American and Parapan American Games in Lima, Peru.

CSM Live will perform a number of duties to bring the events to life, including scoping all venues. The agency will devise a ‘look and feel’ concept for the venues, as well as a ‘wayfinding’ concept, followed by preparation of artwork for all elements.

CSM Live will work with a range of local companies who have been selected through a tender process by the Games’ organising committee.

The Pan American Games are due to take place from July 26 to August 11, with the Parapan American Games to follow from August 23 to September 1.

Giles Stanford, director of global events at CSM Live, said: “It’s an honour to be involved in the largest sporting event ever held in Peru. We’re already set up and working in this amazing country, using our expertise to ensure that Lima looks amazing.

“It’s going to be a fantastic event and we’re excited to be helping give the competitors, fans and all involved an engaging and truly unforgettable experience.”

Earlier this month, the Lima 2019 organising committee inaugurated the first new sporting venue for the event, the baseball stadium in the Villa Maria del Triunfo district of the city.

The new baseball stadium features a World Baseball Softball Confederation-approved field, changing rooms and seats for 1,800 spectators. Peru’s national baseball team held a training session at the venue to inaugurate the facility.
