Motorpoint Arena, ARC launch venue apps

Arena Racing Company (ARC) and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham have both launched venue apps to boost the fan experience.

In partnership with sport and entertainment technology firm LiveStyled, ARC’s 16 UK racecourses will adopt individual branded apps with integrations from mobile ticketing at the gates to purchasing premium upgrades and food and drink.

Tony Clare, director of technology and betting at ARC said that understanding racegoers is “critical to our success,” and that the new app will offer “deep, real-time insight into areas of the experience which can’t effectively be measured based purely on customer feedback or anecdotal evidence.”

The Motorpoint Arena will also benefit from similar features, as well as access to exclusive content, mobile concessions ordering, access to personalised offers and ‘app-only’ collection lanes.

Users at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham can also browse the merchandise available ahead of each upcoming show and pre-order from home.

The venue has hosted over 1,000 shows since opening in 2000, with upcoming events including Rod Stewart, Sean Paul, Westlife and Ozzy Osbourne.

Martin Ingham, chief executive at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, said: “The app is the essential digital companion for those visiting our venue. It will not only enhance their experience during their visit, allowing them to pre-pay for food, drink and merchandise even before they arrive, but it will provide them with a free and easy platform where they can access the latest news and information at the touch of a button.”

“We are continually looking for new and exciting ways to better our visitor experience, and we’re excited to launch the app as the latest advancement to the venue.”
