Electrical services provider Dynegy has entered into a multi-year partnership with Wrigley Field and the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball franchise.
As the official and exclusive energy provider of the Cubs and Wrigley Field, Dynegy will power the ballpark and benefit from a strong sponsorship and marketing presence across the venue.
Dynegy has partnered with the Cubs following significant upgrade work at the stadium that seeks to enhance the venue’s overall game-day experience while preserving its historic features.
Dynegy’s chief marketing officer Sydney Seiger said the company is developing unique offers and electricity plans exclusively for Cubs fans as part of the agreement.
Dynegy also serves as the official energy provider of The Great American Ball Park, home of fellow MLB team the Cincinnati Reds.
The Cubs have played at Wrigley Field since 1916 and the ballpark is the second oldest in MLB after Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.
