Brentford stadium partner steps up as shirt sponsor

EcoWorld London, the business delivering a new stadium for Brentford, has expanded its partnership with the Championship football club by becoming its new shirt sponsor.

EcoWorld’s branding will feature on the front of the London club’s shirts during the 2019-20 season. It will also benefit from advertising space at Griffin Park, Brentford’s current home.

The company is Brentford’s development partner on the club’s new 17,250-seat stadium, which is due to open in time for the 2020-21 season.

The wide-ranging development is also set to house a purpose-built location for the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, as well as a public square with shops, cafes and restaurants and more than 900 new homes for sale and rent.

The new partnership will see Brentford with EcoWorld London support each other on upcoming projects and events, as well as local community initiatives. The two parties will also work with the Community Sports Trust to create sustainable improvements in local facilities and active opportunities for locals.

EcoWorld London chief executive Heng Leong Cheong said: “Coming on board as principal partner with Brentford FC was a natural decision for us. Having worked closely with the club over the years both on their new community stadium and as a platinum partner previously, we are confident that this is a partnership of mutually ambitious and passionate organisations, with great plans to grow and contribute to our great city.”

The 2019-20 season will be Brentford’s last at Griffin Park, its home stadium since 1904.
