New home team dressing room at St. Mary’s

KSS have completed Southampton Football Club’s new home dressing room for the start of the 2019/20 season, with a full refurbishment and re-configuration of the first team, managers and coaches areas. The new design brings together the players, coaches, analysts and medical staff all in to one cohesive space.

The first team home dressing room is at the heart of the new suite, in an inclusive horseshoe configuration that can be totally enclosed for complete pre match focus. The dark and dramatic design reflects the clubs values of aspiration and unity and provides excellent sight lines for the manager Ralph Hasenhüttl to deliver key messages.

Each bespoke locker has a personalised bronze name plaque sat above the iconic red and white Saints shirt which hangs against a backdrop of matte black. High quality craftsmanship has given a unique Saints identity to the lockers with brand stripes inlaid in red which seamlessly flow in to embroidered stripes within the seating.

Pre-set lighting, digital and audio scenes transform the space and include focus, reflection and celebration modes, all encompassed by a large oval illuminated raised ceiling feature. The philosophy of the design has been continued throughout the suite from the entrance featuring a large scale bronze club crest, to the Manager and Coaches dressing room and the players grooming area.

The home dressing room was revealed at the Season Launch Show and was well received by the players, fans and club ambassador Matt Le Tissier who stated, “Every detail has been taken care of and it looks spectacular. You can’t help but look forward to coming in here on a match day.”
