NFL’s Bengals detail new game-day enhancements

The Cincinnati Bengals NFL American football team has introduced a range of features designed to enhance the fan experience at Paul Brown Stadium during the new season.

The team has revamped its guest services approach, added a street team to interact with fans on game days, added new elements to its Jungle Zone space and launched a redesigned game-day section on its official app. New stadium speakers have also been added as the Bengals prepare to host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

The redesigned game-day section of the app will provide easier-to-access information on the game, including tickets, traffic, parking, clear-bag policy and details of the opponent. Directions to the stadium and surrounding parking lots and garages will also be provided.

The in-bowl sound system has also been upgraded, marking the second stage of a three-year project. This year’s project entailed the installation of around 120 speakers on the lower level and 70 new speakers on the canopy level, with further 21-inch subwoofers on each side of the canopy level.

Additionally, ‘Who Dey Team’ guest service representatives will be on hand throughout the venue to ensure fans have a positive game-day experience. Members of the ‘Bengal Street Team’ will serve as key brand ambassadors to hype fans up on game days, while prizes and giveaways will be offered in tailgate lots and in the Jungle Zone.

The Jungle Zone serves as the centrepiece of the pre-game experience at Paul Brown Stadium, with tailgate parties getting underway three hours before kick-off. From this season, the space will include Ninja Warrior races, football throwing contests, inflatable axe throwing and fowling (bowling with an American football). A professional world record holding juggler will also perform on Sunday.

Duane Haring, director of ticket sales and service for the Bengals, said: “Providing great value to our fans who attend games at Paul Brown Stadium is a top priority. Having the lowest Fan Cost Index in the NFL is one of many items that really highlight the emphasis we as an organisation have placed on our fans.”
