FC Cincinnati markets premium offerings at new stadium

Major League Soccer franchise FC Cincinnati has launched the process to sell suites at its under-construction West End Stadium, which is due to open at the start of the 2021 season.

The club is now accepting deposits for the venue’s 54 traditional suites. FC Cincinnati said these $10,000 (£8,100/€9,100) refundable deposits will allow clients to reserve their suite over five-, seven- and 10-year terms.

Those who currently have season tickets or are partners of the club will have until November 22 to place a deposit and maintain their club priority. The club has urged fans who are not members to secure season tickets for next season to improve their priority placement for suites at West End Stadium in 2021.

The 54 suites will be located on one of the two dedicated suite levels on the stadium’s west side. Most suites will include 22 seats (18 outdoor, four indoor) and all will feature private entertainment spaces, along with access to the venue’s other social areas.

The club currently plays at the 40,000-seat Nippert Stadium, which primarily serves as the home of the University of Cincinnati’s American football team. The club noted that suite seating at West End Stadium will be closer to the field than current inventory at Nippert Stadium.

Levy, FC Cincinnati’s hospitality partner, will provide premium clients with authentic menus, atmospheres and partnerships. Additionally, suite holders will have the right of first refusal to secure their suites for non-MLS events at West End Stadium.

FC Cincinnati president Jeff Berding said: “We are excited to finally introduce Cincinnati to the first of the premium seats in our West End Stadium.

“As with every aspect of this facility, we’ve put intense thought and perspective into the stadium’s design to provide all of our fans a best-in-class customer experience in Cincinnati. Soccer is such a special sport and our fans have created this amazing, organic environment in our first four years. That was the inspiration for West End Stadium’s design, and our suite and premium club customers will have the best event experience in the city when they come to our new home in 2021.”

Fans who secure season tickets at West End Stadium will finalise their seat selections at the club’s new Experience Center, which will open later in the autumn. The 5,000-square-foot immersive area at the team’s downtown corporate offices will give fans a greater understanding of their stadium experience and feature renderings, a scaled model of the stadium, examples of all seats in the stadium and other general information.

Levy partnered with FC Cincinnati in August and will provide the dining experience at West End Stadium. The stadium has been designed by Populous and will have a capacity of between 26,000 and 26,500.
