PTI Consulting rebrands as PTI Smarter Venues

PTI Consulting has rebranded as PTI Smarter Venues through an agreement with stadium, digital, media and advertising specialist Smarter Venues Ltd.

The agreement combines the two parties’ technology and commercial expertise across a portfolio of 70-plus clubs and venues.

PTI Smarter Venues will be made up of three divisions: PTI Consulting, PTI Media and Advertising, and PTI Managed Services.

PTI Consulting will enable business growth and operational efficiency through technology and people transformation. The company said this division will holistically cover “the journey from your current position, through a future roadmap and strategic vision”.

PTI Media and Advertising will specialise in stadium and venue media and advertising management, while PTI Managed Services will deliver in areas relating to access control, ticketing, hospitality, IPTV, LED and large format screens.

Mike Bohndiek, chief executive at PTI Smarter Venues, said: “We are excited at the opportunity to help clubs drive technological change and deliver immediate commercial return on their investments. smarterVENUES have made steady progress with their media offering in the last six months and now PTI are able to add data, insights and smarter delivery systems to the mix.

With the formation of PTI Smarter Venues, current smarterVENUES chief executive Richard Peters will leave the business in the new year.

Combining with PTI Consulting as PTI Smarter Venues is an exciting move, and now is the right time for me to step down as Mike and the team consolidate and develop the services on offer to rights-holders, venues and brands.
