Allegiant Stadium lands Desert Ford Dealers as founding partner

Desert Ford Dealers has been announced as the latest founding partner of Allegiant Stadium, the under-construction new home of the Oakland Raiders NFL American football team.

Desert Ford Dealers will also become the official vehicle of the Raiders when the team moves to Las Vegas next year.

Ford has five dealerships in Las Vegas: Ford Country, Friendly Ford, Gaudin Ford, Rush Truck Center and Team Ford. The company, which is an existing sponsor of the NFL, will benefit from a dynamic presence throughout the stadium and receive tailgate activations and naming rights to the north-gate entry.

Raiders president Marc Badain said: “We are excited to add another worldwide brand to the Raider family and for the annual activation and tailgating experiences this partnership will provide to our fans.”

Badain added, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper: “They’ll  have certain parts of the building essentially named after Ford, and they’ll activate with their cars and trucks on-site.

“There will be some things that they’ll do to encourage fan engagement and some really exciting things for the parking lots for the tailgating experience, both here on site (at the stadium) and some of the ancillary sites we’re talking about.”

Legends Global Partnerships represented the Raiders during the negotiations as Allegiant Stadium’s official premium ticketing and sponsorships agency. The deal has been announced days after Bank of Nevada was unveiled as the latest partner of Allegiant Stadium.

The 65,000-seat Allegiant Stadium will open next July. Las Vegas-based travel company Allegiant signed up as the naming-rights sponsor of the stadium in August.
