Taylor to lead Legends’ new tech division

Legends has announced the launch of its Global Technology Solutions division after appointing Denise Taylor as president of the new branch.

The new division will serve Legends’ new and existing partners and will focus on “future-forward services” such as data analytics, revenue generation strategies, in-venue technology design, digital and mobile solutions and technology consulting.

An experiential platform will also launch to drive immersive and engaging guest experiences.

Taylor will oversee EDGE Experiential, Legends’ technology joint venture with Productive Edge. She will also focus on future-forward strategic direction, guest-facing technology and business development opportunities for Legends partners.

Legends chief operating officer Mike Tomon said: “Legends offers holistic solutions for our clients, and with the addition of Denise and the expertise she brings, we have a unique opportunity to expand our current technology capabilities into a full Global Technology Solutions division, an area that is critically important to growth of both the sports and entertainment industries.

“Legends will benefit significantly from Denise’s experience and her ability to lead this newly created division to drive innovation and state-of-the-art solutions for our partners.”

Taylor previously worked as chief global information officer for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, a position she held since 2015. Before that, she spent over nine years working for AEG, most recently as global chief information officer.

Taylor said: “Legends has a tremendous opportunity to further integrate technology into our client solutions. Our new division will focus on developing innovative strategies and utilising technology to create new business opportunities, enhance the guest experience, add value, and create solutions for partners across all of our verticals.”

Taylor, who will be based out of Legends’ Los Angeles headquarters, has also held information technology positions at Universal Musical Group and NBC Universal Studios in her career.

Legends provides global sales, hospitality and planning services for the sports and entertainment industries.
