TD Garden teams up with Venuetize to enhance fan experience

Boston’s TD Garden has partnered with technology platform Venuetize to launch a new mobile service that aims to transform the visitor experience through offerings such as mobile ticketing and wallet functions, with in-seat food delivery set to follow.

TD Garden Hub can be utilised by fans of NBA basketball franchise the Boston Celtics and NHL team Boston Bruins, along with other visitors to the arena and new 1.5 million square-foot development, The Hub on Causeway.

A Boston Properties and Delaware North joint venture, The Hub on Causeway opened in November and is a transit-oriented development that includes mixed-use retail, restaurants, offices, hotels and residential.

Prominent features of the new application include mobile wallet, which will provide guests with a secure and faster way to pay for food, beverage and merchandise anywhere in TD Garden and The Hub on Causeway, including new in-seat delivery and express pick-up options. Mobile ticketing will provide ease of entry and access when attending games and events.

The app will also offer advanced parking purchases for North Station Garage at TD Garden, along with information on events, schedules and calendars. Future additions will see fans in select TD Garden seats able to order food for in-seat delivery during a game. This service will extend to restaurant reservations, express food pick-up in Hub Hall, and food delivery to offices, hotel rooms, or apartments within The Hub.
