Manica provides behind-the-scenes tour of Allegiant Stadium

David Manica, president and owner of MANICA Architecture, has provided a behind-the-scenes look at the interior and hospitality innovations at Allegiant Stadium – the new home of NFL’s Raiders nearing completion in Las Vegas…

The Raiders have released a video in which Manica gives an exclusive tour of the state-of-the-art stadium, which has a capacity of 65,000.

In the video, Manica and Keith Robinson, a director at the firm, discuss the thinking behind specific design aspects of the stadium, which will also be used to host college football games and major music concerts.

“This is one of the few buildings I think in the league where the outside and the inside feel like the same building,” said Manica. “It’s all the same brand, all the same theme, all obviously Raiders.”

Manica discusses the design of the stadium’s 85-foot-tall Al Davis Memorial Torch – the largest 3D printed object in the world – as well as the premium seat innovations at the venue.

Discussing one 50-yard line suite, Manica said: “There are other buildings that have 50-yard line suites that enter off the field but none that I know of that have this outdoor patio space where the club comes right up to the edge of the field.

“This will be filled with furniture and it’ll be a nice place for all the guests in this club to come out and be right on the field.”

David Manica will be a guest speaker at TheStadiumBusiness Summit & Venue Technology Showcase 2020.
