Cleveland Cavaliers team up with Armored Things ahead of fans’ return

The Cleveland Cavaliers NBA basketball team has entered into a partnership with crowd intelligence software company Armored Things to ensure the safe return of fans to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

The Cavaliers will use Armored Things’ crowd intelligence solution at the arena to manage fan density at key entry and gathering points. The technology will also allow the team to make smarter decisions relating to staffing, security and sanitation.

The Cavaliers have received approval from the State of Ohio to host up to 10% of Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse’s capacity, which amounts to nearly 2,000 fans. This will commence from January 11.

Armored Things partnered with Major League Soccer franchise Los Angeles FC in June last year to ensure the safe return of fans to Banc of California Stadium.
