Almost 15,000 fans attend Hard Rock Stadium’s CFP National Championship

Yesterday (Monday) saw almost 15,000 fans attend the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.

Ticket holders were given staggered entrance times for the game, which saw Alabama beat Ohio State 52-24. Fans were socially distanced in the stands and mask-wearing was required at all times.

To limit the potential spread of COVID-19, tailgating was banned in the stadium car park, while cashless payments and app-based mobile ordering were also implemented.

Hard Rock Stadium reopened last year with a 13,000-capacity limit for Dolphins games.
