Southampton FC has launched a new app via a partnership with Realife Tech, which includes a Premier League first in allowing fans to book and pay for tickets natively in the app.
Under the five-year partnership, fans will be able to download and share their tickets, then scan them at the St Mary’s Stadium gates for entry on matchdays.
Through the app, stadium visitors will be able to order food and beverage, receive a notification when their order is ready to collect, and then collect on a contactless-basis from their chosen concession.
It will also connect the club’s fan engagement platforms and provide Southampton fans with news, match updates, video content and fan engagement features such as quizzes, polls and an interactive photo wall.
Realife Tech’s new Covid Safety Hub is also integrated into the app with a fully contactless solution for when fans return to the 32,000-capacity stadium.
