MATCH Hospitality details new VIP offering at Silverstone

MATCH Hospitality, the official hospitality partner of Silverstone, has launched a new VIP offering ahead of this year’s edition of Formula 1’s British Grand Prix.

The British Grand Prix will be held from July 16-18 and there is increasing optimism that the event can go ahead with a significant number of fans as COVID-19 lockdown restrictions ease in England.

MATCH Hospitality’s new Fusion VIP offering will be located on the inside of Silverstone’s Stowe corner and will give guests the chance to experience the race in a private and elegant setting. The offering will include a 360-degree viewing deck, high-end food, private tables, live entertainment and interviews with motorsport stars and VIP guests, as well as after-party access.

On the Saturday afternoon of race weekend, former F1 driver and current pundit Martin Brundle will provide Fusion VIP and Fusion Lounge guests with insight into the race weekend.

Prices for Fusion VIP packages will range from £425 (€494/$594) to £2,595 per person.

Jaime Byrom, executive chairman of MATCH Hospitality, said: “MATCH Hospitality is proud and excited to introduce its most luxurious hospitality offering, Fusion VIP, this summer to reignite fans’ passion for motorsport after a difficult year of COVID-19 restrictions. Silverstone Circuit is the perfect location to celebrate the return of British sport and enjoy a great day outside with friends and family – we can’t wait for guests to experience our hospitality.”

Stuart Pringle, managing director at Silverstone, added: “MATCH Hospitality has an incredible track record of delivering world-class sports hospitality products. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, hospitality was unfortunately not possible in 2020, so we are especially looking forward to seeing the amazing hospitality packages MATCH has designed come to life at this year’s British Grand Prix.”

MATCH Hospitality was appointed as the official hospitality partner of Silverstone in October 2019. The company manages the official hospitality portfolio of the Northamptonshire circuit across a range of events, including F1, MotoGP and British Superbikes.

In other news, SoFi Stadium, home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, has partnered with award-winning chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo to reimagine the venue’s culinary experience.

The programme developed by the two chefs is based on four core concepts, each grounded in local flavours. From April 22, SoFi Stadium will release a video each week announcing a concept and delving into its inspiration and ingredients, with Shook and Dotolo to talk through their choices.

The culinary programme will incorporate SoFi Stadium’s amenities and indoor-outdoor design. The venue’s open-air kitchens offer views of the field and enable food to be prepared in front of guests. In a first for stadium design, the venue also features 100% live-fire kitchens.

The programme was created in partnership with Legends, which will operate the programme under the directION of executive chef Robert Biebrich and vice-president of culinary innovation Gretchen Beaumarchais.
