Levy adds Nottingham Forest to catering portfolio

English Championship football club Nottingham Forest has entered into a partnership with hospitality company Levy.

The five-year deal begins with the 2021-22 season and names Levy as Forest’s official catering and hospitality partner. Levy will support food and beverage experiences at the club’s City Ground stadium on match days and look to bolster the venue’s conference and events operations.

In line with Levy’s focus on culinary creativity and community sourcing, the company will hold discussions with a number of local food and beverage companies about partnership and supply opportunities at the City Ground. Levy will also work with Forest on building the sustainability of the club’s operations.

Levy has committed to work with the best local suppliers and use a minimum of 80% UK-produced seasonal fruit and vegetables by the end of 2021. The Levy culinary team will work in partnership with Forest on a number of plant-based food options alongside enhancing fan favourites.

Additionally, Levy will deploy new technology to enhance the fan experience at the City Ground, with a new till system and digital screens to be fitted to speed up service and reduce physical contact amid the ongoing risks posed by COVID-19. App ordering systems will also be implemented throughout the season.

As part of the deal, the City Ground will join Lime Venue Portfolio, Levy’s sales and marketing partner.

Jon Davies, managing director of Levy UK + Ireland, said: “A big focus for us in our work will be to support and nurture local food and hospitality talent in Nottingham and promoting the professional development and welfare of everybody we work with.

“We’ll be working closely with Nottingham Forest to bring a fresh, modern approach to food and drink, whether it’s for match days or conferences and events. We are confident that we will give fans yet another reason to look forward to returning to the City Ground in the 2021-22 season.”

David Cook, Forest’s chief commercial officer, added: “We chose to work with Levy not only because of their clear track record in delivering legendary matchday food and beverage experiences and industry-leading innovation, but also because they share the values and beliefs that are at the heart of everything we do at Nottingham Forest.”

Levy recently signed a 10-year deal to become the new catering and hospitality partner of newly promoted Premier League club Watford.
