Jets’ MetLife Stadium welcomes Fubo Sportsbook Lounge

The NFL’s New York Jets is targeting an enhanced fan experience at MetLife Stadium after announcing plans for a new sports betting lounge in association with partner Fubo Sportsbook.

The Fubo Sportsbook Lounge will be approximately 7,000 square feet and offer visitors to the New Jersey-located stadium the chance to bet on sports fixtures in kiosks or via the operator’s app. Fans can enjoy the game while wagering as the lounge’s outdoor patio offers views of the field of play.

Fubo Sportsbook is expected to launch in New Jersey – where the operator has market access via Caesars Entertainment – in the fourth quarter of 2021, with the lounge to open during the 2021 NFL season.

This agreement marks Fubo Sportsbook’s first sponsorship of a professional sports team, with the lounge to be the first designated betting facility at MetLife Stadium.

“This partnership with Fubo Sportsbook is another major step for the New York Jets in our journey to prioritise engagement with our fan base, including the enhancement of their overall stadium experience on game day,” said Jeff Fernandez, Jets vice president, business development and ventures.

“With Fubo Sportsbook, Jets fans will be treated to their innovative mobile viewing and wagering platform, which will be brought to life at the dynamic new Fubo Sportsbook Lounge.”

MetLife Stadium will become the latest NFL arena to install a betting facility since the league relaxed rules restricting them at the start of 2020.

“The New York Jets is a leading sports organisation with a strong base of enthusiastic and loyal fans and we strongly believe in the future success of the team,” said Scott Butera, president of Fubo Gaming.

“We are excited to be their partner in offering this community a truly unique sports betting and entertainment experience. The Fubo Sportsbook is designed to meet the increased demand for interactivity by integrating real-time sports streaming with personalised wagering experiences.

“The Fubo Sportsbook will also have the ability to leverage first-party data to understand viewing preferences and provide relevant bet recommendations.”
