Colts team up with Caesars, WynnBET for sportsbook experiences at Lucas Oil Stadium

The Indianapolis Colts has become the second NFL American football franchise this week to detail plans to introduce sportsbook experiences at its stadium.

The Colts and Caesars Entertainment have announced a partnership making Caesars Sportsbook a premier sports betting partner and the only official casino partner of the team.

The new multi-year agreement expands upon the existing Colts-Caesars partnerships with Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino and Indiana Grand Racing & Casino. As part of the expansion, the newly-launched Caesars Sportsbook offering will receive additional marketing and sponsorship assets, including the opening of a Caesars Sportsbook Lounge at the former Blue Room at Lucas Oil Stadium.

An entertainment space open to fans 21 and older, the Lounge will have live odds displayed on LED screens and Caesars ambassadors available to help fans download the Caesars Sportsbook app and place bets.

Lucas Oil Stadium’s South Gate will become Caesars South Gate, while Caesars Sportsbook will sponsor the free-to-play ‘Pick 6’ predictor game on the Colts mobile app.

“We’ve been a proud partner with Caesars properties in Indiana for some time now, but this new partnership expands our ability to offer Colts fans a truly unique experience, whether at Lucas Oil Stadium or watching from home on gameday,” said Roger VanDerSnick, Colts chief sales and marketing officer.

Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital, added: “Indiana has been a special place for our company, and we know how passionate these great sports fans are for their home team. Caesars will continue to push for innovation to bring the best in sports experiences, both in-person and on mobile, to the Hoosier State through Caesars Sportsbook and our partnership with the NFL.”

Meanwhile, the Colts have also agreed a deal with sports betting app WynnBET, making it a sportsbook partner of the team. As part of the agreement, Lucas Oil Stadium’s West Club will be re-named the WynnBET Club, featuring a 21+ only sports bar environment in the upstairs club level, as well as a WynnBET VIP area.

Outside of the venue, WynnBET will host a lounge at the team’s pre-game tailgate area, Touchdown Town, where prizes will be given away to 21+ guests. WynnBET and the Colts will offer various fan activations, including appearances from Colts Legends and WynnBET brand ambassadors, food and beverage offerings and prize giveaways.

Throughout the season, WynnBET branding will appear on the stadium’s north end zone LED adjacent to the window that provides a backdrop to downtown Indianapolis. WynnBET also will be featured on the gameday lineup cards, which are provided to fans in suites at the venue as well as in the WynnBET Club.

“This partnership with WynnBET will help the Colts expand offerings, activities and events for our fans and customers and provide multiple new options for them to engage with the team,” said VanDerSnick.

“We also look forward to WynnBET’s presence in our television shows, podcasts and other digital and social platforms, which will allow us to touch even more fans, on gameday or otherwise.”

The New Orleans Saints in July confirmed a 20-year partnership with Caesars Entertainment for naming rights to its Superdome stadium. In November 2018, Caesars Entertainment was announced as the first founding partner of Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Earlier this week, the New York Jets entered into a partnership with WynnBET, which will open an all-inclusive food and beverage hospitality space at MetLife Stadium.
