Seat Unique, the premium ticketing marketplace, will exclusively power the Welsh Rugby Union’s online hospitality sales for the next four years.
The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) and Principality Stadium Experience (PSE) have announced a new partnership with Seat Unique that will see a step change in the way fans access premium ticketing for Principality Stadium events.
International rugby matches, such as the series this autumn which will welcome New Zealand, South Africa, Fiji and Australia to Cardiff, and concerts, like Stereophonics’ ‘We’ll Keep A Welcome’ and Ed Sheeran’s ‘+-=÷X’ tour this winter, are now more accessible than ever.
Seat Unique is dedicated to helping supporters get VIP access to the best live sports and music events and has already been working with the WRU and PSE for the Autumn Nations Series, where the opening fixture against the All Blacks has sold-out.
But packages remain to see the Springboks, Fiji or Australia, starting at £295 +VAT, and the Seat Unique partnership means premium seats or luxury dining experiences across the full spectrum of events at Principality Stadium can now be accessed online any time of the day or night.
The WRU and PSE are renowned for hosting the finest hospitality experiences which can now be accessed through Seat Unique, who will exclusively power the WRU’s online hospitality sales for the next four years.
The premium ticketing marketplace is digitally transforming the hospitality booking process, making it possible for supporters to buy official premium tickets and packages anytime and anywhere through a 24/7 online service.
Supporters can enjoy an unforgettable day of VIP hospitality and live entertainment at Principality Stadium this autumn at the rugby or at the Six Nations Championship or a music concert later in the season, all accessed securely through the established and trusted online marketplace.
Seat Unique already works with some of the biggest clubs and venues around the world, helping fans access packages for Manchester City, Chelsea FC, Hampshire Cricket and many more.
Now their seamless buying experience and five star treatment is available to all supporters, fans and concert goers heading to the Welsh capital for any PSE event.
“We’re proud to be working with some of the biggest sports clubs and venues in the world and we’re delighted to add PSE and the WRU to our marketplace,” said CEO and Founder of Seat Unique Robin Sherry.
“By using our innovative software, our partners can exclusively exhibit premium tickets and hospitality packages through the website.
“Our software allows clubs and venues to sell hospitality tickets to supporters safely and securely, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
“This enables us to create a trusted online space in which customers are guaranteed access to the best packages at the best possible price.”
PSE packages for Stereophonics, who are joined by Tom Jones and Catfish and The Bottlemen in Principality Stadium’s first post-pandemic concert on Friday 17thand Saturday 18th December, start at £325 + VAT and access to a VIP experience with Ed Sheeran, who broke stadium records with a four-night run in 2018, in May start at £295 + VAT.
“With Seat Unique now on board as a WRU partner there will be a significant and positive difference to the buying experience associated with our premium offerings,” said WRU commercial and legal director, Rhodri Lewis.
“Supporters are already benefitting from a new seamless and streamlined online system, with the sold-out All Blacks game having provided the perfect platform to test out our new processes.
“Seat Unique will now continue to ensure a quality purchasing experience for all Principality Stadium event-goers heading to Cardiff in what is already a busy year ahead.
“Principality Stadium has a growing premium event calendar and this is just the arrangement we need to support our ticketing and hospitality operation and offer the very best customer experience possible to our visitors.”
