French club Troyes seeks fan XP boost through DJ Martin Solveig partnership

French Ligue 1 club Troyes will host DJ Martin Solveig for a special pre-match performance as part of a new multiyear partnership between the team and artist.

Solveig is to play a 20-minute set at Stade de l’Aube immediately before the game against Saint-Etienne on Sunday. He will be located in an area backing onto the players’ tunnel.

The DJ, whose international hits include All Stars, Hello and Intoxicated, will be accompanied by a sound, light and pyrotechnic show. A reworked version of ‘All Stars’ will play when the teams enter the field of play.

Troyes said the partnership with Solveig “demonstrates its disruptive and creative dimension” in what is a time of growth for French football. The club outlined its desire to attract new fans to the stadium and develop a “sustainable economy” within the game.

Aymeric Magne, executive chairman and managing director of ESTAC Troyes, said: “We are delighted and honoured to program this collaboration with Martin Solveig. Beyond the event, the combination of sport, music and culture is one of our leitmotifs; create new experiences to retain our supporters and attract new fans to the stadium.

“The Stade de l’Aube is a space of celebration for all, it will probably fill up and it is a strong signal and a showcase for the promotion of Ligue 1 Uber Eats, especially with its broadcasters.

“The general public will be able to attend a beautiful football match, at stake, against a historic French football club and also the performance of one of the world’s greatest DJs. We want the stadium to be a 360° festive and family place, offering a beautiful football show, but also a global experience for each member of the family to find joy there and have a great time in our company throughout. the season.”

Solveig said: “As an artist and a sports and football fan, I am very proud to participate in this event. This collaboration with ESTAC will resonate very strongly in the Stade de l’Aube for several years and, without a doubt, will give ideas to the football, artistic and event scenes!

“ESTAC is a club on a human scale and the proposal for this collaboration immediately resonated with me.”
