Caesars adds Buffalo Bills to NFL portfolio

The Buffalo Bills NFL American football team has agreed a multi-year partnership with Caesars Sportsbook, with a new premium club lounge to open at Highmark Stadium as part of the deal.

As an official mobile sports betting partner of the Bills, Caesars Sportsbook will receive significant sponsorship assets. The company will also hold naming rights to the sportsbook-style club, which will be in the northwest corner tower of the existing Business Class Club.

More details of the club will be available ahead of the start of the 2022 Bills season. In addition to the new space, Caesars Sportsbook will gain access to the use of official Bills logos and marks, as well as a wide range of VIP experiences and hospitality assets to make available for bettors.

Other benefits will include broadcast and digital content across Bills properties, TV-visible in-game signage and access to unique fan activations at Highmark Stadium.

The deal has been announced after online sports betting officially became legal in the state of New York on January 8. Caesars Sportsbook was among the first sports betting operators to launch in the state.

Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital, said: “This partnership gives us the opportunity to connect with one of the most passionate fan bases in all of sports. We’re ready to welcome Bills fans into the Caesars Empire and offer them access to best-in-class hospitality experiences through our Caesars Sportsbook app as we continue to expand our footprint across the state of New York and beyond.”

Caesars Entertainment also holds naming rights to the home stadium of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, while Caesars Sportsbook has a separate partnership with the Indianapolis Colts.

Caesars Sportsbook has also announced a new multi-year partnership with Michigan State University Athletics. The deal names Caesars as the official and exclusive sports betting partner and iGaming partner of MSU Athletics.

The partnership combines fan engagement opportunities, a new premium seating area at Spartan Stadium, and an expansion of responsible sports gaming education.

In other news, Major League Soccer franchise Columbus Crew has signed a long-term partnership with global sportsbook operator Tipico.

As the official and exclusive sports betting partner of the Crew, Tipico will receive entitlement rights to marquee assets, including the Tipico Beer Garden and Tipico Club. It will also receive prominent brand integration throughout Lower.com Field.

Tipico plans on launching its mobile sports betting app when legalised sports betting goes live in the state of Ohio.
