NFL, MLS teams enhance entry times through touchless security

Attendees to some NFL and MLS games will now have a shorter waiting time thanks to integrated security screening technology.

Nissan Stadium, which is home to the Tennessee Titans, has reduced its security queues after utilising technology from Evolv Technology, which specialises in weapons detection through security screenings for venues and other companies.

Evolv also worked with Lower.com Field, which is home to MLS franchise Columbus Crew, to enable management to accommodate up to 16,000 fans entering the stadium through one gate.

Utilising Evolv Express, Lower.com Field was able to integrate security screening, ticketing and facial scanning, with the process becoming a more streamlined and touchless experience for MLS fans.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which is home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS side Atlanta United, has also improved its entry procedure and security screening process using Evolv technology.
