People on the move: Seat Unique, TEG and more

Seat Unique has announced a new chair, former Sky Bet chief executive Richard Flint (pictured left).

Flint has been part of Seat Unique’s board since November 2021 and will make the step up to chair with immediate effect. He said: “I have long been interested in the premium ticketing business, particularly as it moves online and becomes more accessible to individuals and families who are prepared to pay a little bit extra for truly memorable experiences.

“There is a huge opportunity here for Seat Unique to become the trusted partner to sports clubs and music venues, and the trusted source of premium tickets for interested customers.”

Australian live entertainment and ticketing company TEG has promoted Tane Oakes to the position of chief technology officer.

Oakes previously served as TEG’s enterprise architect and in his new role will lead the company’s Sydney-based team, while evolving and executing its technology capability and investments.

Oakes has more than nine years of experience at TEG and its ticketing business Ticketek. As chief technology officer, Oakes will report to TEG’s chief operating officer Ian Ball.

Legends has announced the acquisition of 4Front, a global data and analytics, innovation and digital media agency.

4Front will retain its company name and operate as part of Legends Global Technology Solutions, with co-founders Josh Kritzler and Dan Migala to oversee the division. Kritzler will serve as co-president and chief operating officer, while Migala will be co-president and chief revenue officer.

4Front was founded in 2007 and has grown to work with organisations, properties, teams and leagues around the world. Its clients have included Chelsea, Chicago Bears, Cricket Australia, New York Mets and UFC.

Aamir Javaid has been promoted to the head of ticketing at English Championship football club Birmingham City.

Javaid has previously held roles as disability coordinator and ticketing manager and has worked at the club for over eight years.
