US sports and entertainment consulting firm Elevate Sports Ventures has secured investment from Arctos Sports Partners.
The undisclosed strategic investment from the sports investment fund means it will join Elevate’s equity partners, which include NFL franchise San Francisco 49ers, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, Oak View Group and Live Nation/Ticketmaster.
To date, Arctos has invested in more than a dozen sports franchises, including Fenway Sports Group – parent company of Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox, English Premier League football club Liverpool and the National Hockey League’s Pittsburgh Penguins.
Arctos also holds interests in the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning and Minnesota Wild, as well as NBA basketball franchises Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors.
Elevate seeks to expand revenue streams for its clients by identifying and securing sponsorship, hospitality, ticketing and partnership opportunities. Elevate currently partners with more than 175 teams, brands, and venues across professional sports around the world.
Through the deal announced today (Wednesday), Elevate and Arctos said they will be able to better serve their partners with “unmatched expertise” in building and growing world class professional sports and entertainment organisations.
