The Arizona Cardinals NFL American football franchise has unveiled Shift4 as a payment-processing partner.
Shift4 will process payments for all Cardinals ticketing transactions at State Farm Stadium, including Super Bowl LVII in February 2023, through an integration with SeatGeek. Shift4 is used by various major professional sports leagues and colleges.
SNA Displays has been awarded a contract to upgrade video boards throughout Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Indianapolis Colts NFL franchise. The contract was awarded by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, which operates the stadium.
Work on display installation has already started and is expected to be wrapped up in July.
The overhaul is the first display technology refresh since the stadium was completed in 2008 and includes the replacement of more than 50 LED displays. In total, the new Lucas Oil Stadium LED display network will include more than 19,500 square feet of LED displays and 21.3 million pixels.
Ame, the financial platform of Americanas, has signed up as a new commercial partner of Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Spectators will be able to use the Ame digital wallet, which can process payments through QR code technology, at the 79,000-capacity stadium’s bars, restaurants and retail outlets. The technology will initially be available in the stadium’s north, south and east stands, with 10% cashback for fans who spend at least R30 (£4.77/€5.57/$5.80) per purchase.
Artificial intelligence-driven conversational applications platform GameOn Technology has teamed up with Major League Baseball’s Milwaukee Brewers.
Through the franchise’s Facebook Messenger platform, fans will be able to enjoy a streamlined interactive experience through live game updates, scores, highlights and player-specific information via the chat application.
Followers will also be able to access additional rich content, including YouTube videos, podcasts and blogs in a single place.
