Weapons detection security screening firm Evolv Technology has entered into a partnership with FirstEnergy Stadium, home of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns.
As part of the deal, FirstEnergy Stadium will use Evolv’s systems, data and analytics to enhance public safety at the venue.
Evolv Express will help reduce lines at both of the stadium’s south entrances, which are the busiest for Browns games. Evolv Express, which is built with sensor technology and AI, identifies weapons, enabling security professionals to focus on addressing potential threats and reducing the need to manually screen every fan.
Evolv data will also provide insights that can inform staffing to improve stadium security posture and enable the busiest entrances to be properly managed and supported. Fans arriving at the south gates will not need to break their stride or open their bags when entering.
Evolv agreed the deal with Haslam Sports Group, which operates FirstEnergy Stadium. Haslam Sports Group also operates Lower.com Field, home of Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew and an existing partner of Evolv.
FirstEnergy Stadium becomes the latest NFL venue to partner with Evolv, joining the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium, Tennessee Titans’ Nissan Stadium and Atlanta Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
