Major League Soccer team FC Dallas is reintroducing drone shows at Toyota Stadium for the 2023 season.

The shows launched last season and proved a hit with fans. FC Dallas works with Sky Elements, a leading drone show provider in the US, to deliver the post-match shows.

A total of six shows will be held at Toyota Stadium throughout the 2023 MLS season, starting with Saturday’s match against LA Galaxy. The post-match drone and LED light show will be set to a 1980s theme.

Saturday’s game against LA Galaxy will feature LED 80s glasses giveaways at entry, neon inflatable games, ‘Instagrammable’ hotspots around Toyota Stadium, and a Sweet Tooth Motel photo opportunity including 80s-themed canvas and interior.

Other game-day activities planned at Toyota Stadium this season include fireworks and flyovers. Every home game at Toyota Stadium this season will kick off at 7:30pm, with 13 Saturday games scheduled, two on Wednesday and one on Tuesday.

The March 18 game against Sporting Kansas City will feature a St. Patrick’s Day theme, while the April 1 match against Portland Timbers will have a ‘Red Out’ theme, with supporters encouraged to wear red.

Other drone shows are planned for games against Real Salt Lake on April 15, Nashville SC on June 3, LAFC on July 1, Austin FC on August 26 and Columbus Crew on September 23.

Toyota Stadium opened in 2005 and has a capacity of 20,500.
