Monumental Sports & Entertainment, parent company of the Washington Wizards, has announced a new premium, luxury experience for the NBA team’s games at Capital One Arena.

The courtside lofts will feature a private reserved dining table accommodating four to six guests, offering a curated five-course dining experience and access to a full menu of beer, wine and cocktails.

Guests will also receive their choice of transportation benefit, complimentary parking or Uber ride credits, as well as access to all Wizards VIP membership benefits. There will be three elevated tiers of lofts, accommodating 14 reserved loft spaces, for a total capacity of 60 guests each night.

The lofts will be available for purchase on a season-long basis, starting with the 2023-24 NBA season.

Architecture, design and planning firm Gensler has designed the lofts, which will be custom-built as modular units exclusively for Wizards games.

Bill Hanni, senior vice-president of ticket sales and service for the Wizards, said: “We know that Washington, D.C. is a market that values premium hospitality and exclusive experiences, and as an organisation, we strive to provide the best possible experience for all premium seat holders.

“Demand for Wizards VIP seating products has far outpaced available inventory for several years now, and we are thrilled to be able to introduce this new and unique game-day experience to our fans.”

The lofts will be located close to the court on the west end of Capital One Arena and will join the Michelob Ultra Courtside Lounge, Caesars Sportsbook Lounge, and Etihad Airways Lounge as premium experiences.

“With each new premium experience, fans have jumped at the chance to secure spaces to get even more from being at the game – we’ve really been blown away,” Hanni added. “So, we are intentional and thoughtful in our approach to ensure we are designing the best-in-class food, drink and service available across the league.”
