Sports and entertainment architecture firm Populous has created a digital interactive version of its Live Emotion exhibition following its in-person launch last month.

Populous has teamed up with Getty Images to curate an exclusive exhibition to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Live Emotion celebrates historic moments and fan emotions that Populous’ work has been part of over the years, with galleries in London, New York and Brisbane staging events.

A digital version of the exhibition has now launched and can be viewed here. The Live Emotion digital gallery will be available for users to browse through for the next six months.

The gallery features venues from around the world, including Wembley Stadium, Emirates Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Accor Stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium, Kai Tak Sports Park, and the newly-opened Sphere in Las Vegas. It also includes images of major events such as the Super Bowl, FIFA World Cup, NHL Winter Classic, and more.

Earl Santee, Populous global chair and a founder of the company, said: “This exhibition provides a snapshot of evolving innovation in the way we enjoy sport, entertainment and live events, capturing the designs of the buildings themselves and the emotions of the fans who enjoy them.

“And whatever the next 40 years of innovation brings, with a heightened focus on a sustainable and more digitally connected future, that emotional connection and the idea of drawing people together will remain fundamental to communities throughout the world.”

The London exhibition was held on November 25 at Noho Showrooms, while the New York event took place over the weekend at The Starrett-Lehigh Building.
