ASM Global’s hospitality division, Savor, has appointed Jason Dowd as senior vice-president of culinary and innovation, while Craig Condra has been named regional vice-president of food and beverage.
Dowd (pictured centre) has more than 25 years of culinary experience and is also a certified sommelier. He has worked with the Ritz Carlton, InterContinental Hotel Group, Olive Garden, Smashburger and Moe’s Southwest Grill.
Condra (pictured right) has previously worked at Sodexo Live!, Levy Restaurants, Legends and Aramark. He has worked on major events such as the Super Bowl, Major League Baseball’s World Series and the NHL’s Stanley Cup.
Intellitix, a provider of cashless point-of-sale and RFID access control technology, has promoted Peter Fantuz to the position of chief executive.
Fantuz has served as chief operating officer of Intellitix since joining the company in 2015.
Intellitix has also promoted Marc-André Simar, who has been with the company since 2011, from vice-president of services to senior vice-president of operations.
Yatendra Yadav has been recruited by UEFA Euro 2024 as venue ticketing access control coordinator for host city Berlin.
Yadav was previously technical project coordinator of operational applications services for the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin in 2023.
European Olympic Committees (EOC) has appointed Jan Lehmann as its first-ever chief executive.
Having started his career at McKinsey, Lehmann (pictured left) then worked at sports marketing agency Infront, the German Football League (DFL), Nielsen Sports, and as a board member at Bundesliga club Mainz 05.
He has been appointed chief executive of the EOC after the governing body received 1,840 applications for the role. The selection procedure was overseen by Deloitte, which compiled a shortlist of 10 candidates.
The EOC organises the European Games multi-sport event. The body recently announced that the 2027 edition of the Games will take place in Istanbul, Turkey.
Alex Kroes has stepped down as chief executive and chairman of the board at Eredivisie football club Ajax, with chief commercial officer Menno Geelen to serve as interim chief executive.
Kroes was suspended by Ajax in April following allegations of insider trading. Although he has stepped down as chief executive, he has signed a new contract running until June 2026 to serve as a technical director of the club.
Geelen has been with Ajax since 2010. He was promoted from head of sponsorship to chief commercial officer in November 2016. Cas Biesta, Ajax’s head of marketing and brand partnerships, will temporarily take on the role of chief commercial officer while Geelen serves as interim chief executive.
