Arena Group has hired Jim Glover as chief executive of Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA).
He will be based in the company’s Wimbledon office in London with the move aimed at driving growth and profitability across the region.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Arena Group at this exciting time,” said Glover.
“The EMEA region has tremendous potential, and I’m confident that by working together, we can unlock new revenue opportunities and optimize our operations to achieve significant and sustainable growth.”
ASM Global has appointed Giuseppe Rizzello to the newly created role of vice-president of ASM Italia.
The strategic hire is said to mark a significant milestone in the venue management company’s expansion plans across Europe.
Rizzello has held previous positions at the likes of FC Internazionale Milano, running stadium operations, and as a venue director for UEFA Champions League.
“Italy is a key strategic market for ASM Global, we have seen significant growth here in the last 5 years and see enormous opportunity over the next decade and beyond,” said ASM Global Europe president Chris Bray.
“As we look to further elevate the live experience for all guests and fans in Italy, the appointment of Joe is an extremely important one. Joe has unrivalled knowledge of the Italian sport and live entertainment industry and has been delivering world-class event experiences for decades.”
OC Sports + Entertainment has unveiled the leadership team, headed up by chief executive Bill Foltz, that will lead OCVIBE – a new entertainment district in Anaheim.
Morell Marean is taking the role of chief operating officer while Tracee Larocca becomes chief marketing officer.
Russ Borrows has been named chief financial officer and Graham Siderius is the new chief partnerships officer.
The 5,700-capacity OCVIBE’s development is ongoing and is expected to fully open by the end of 2026.
The Legends Intercontinental T20, a US cricket league owned by Brosid Sports LLC, has appointed Arun Pandey as its chief operating officer and chairman prior to the beginning of the inaugural season in Texas which begins in August.
