Taylor Swift’s Wembley Stadium concert on June 22 has broken the record for the most mobile data used during a standalone concert at the venue.
All three of the artist’s shows, which ran from June 21 to 23, saw fans use more EE mobile data than the previous record of 4.49TB set during Harry Styles’ Love on Tour concert last summer.
The peak came on the Saturday night as 5.57TB was used, which is the equivalent of sharing more than 1.7 million images on social media.
The Atlanta Hawks, State Farm Arena and extended reality (XR) company Quintar have entered into a multi-year partnership to create immersive experiences and functional utilities for fans visiting the venue.
The collaboration will focus on developing XR experiences in three areas. These are in-game features like shot heatmaps, player cards data and matchups; gamification experiences; and functional utilities.
“We are thrilled to partner with Quintar to build experiences for the next generation of fans with a focus on tailored gameday experiences and interactive digital content,” said the Hawks and State Farm Arena’s executive vice president Kim Rometo.
“Quintar’s platform will allow State Farm Arena to become a canvas on which fans can explore and engage.”
Westcon-Comstor has partnered with Extreme Networks in a bid to transform fans’ sports and event experiences throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
This includes high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity and Wi-Fi analytics which are aimed at improving the likes of mobile ticketing, cashless transactions, and stadium app performance.

NFL team the Minnesota Vikings has enlisted Shift4 to power payments at the U.S. Bank Stadium.
Shift4’s platform will power the venue’s food and beverage concessions as well as ticket sales.
