The Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee has selected Juniper Networks as its official secure IP network supplier.
The collaboration will see the American company guarantee the protection of digital data and information at venues during the Games.
The deal with Juniper is said to represent a significant step for the Games Organising Committee with the former being expected to provide a vital service.
“The signing of this agreement adds further prestige to the path of building the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games,” said Milan Cortina 2026 chief executive Andrea Varnier.
“We welcome a company whose excellence is recognized internationally. The team of our partners is growing and becoming increasingly diverse: a strong point for the Organizing Committee of this great sporting event that will leave an important legacy to Italy.”

Juniper’s platform is due to ensure secure networking during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, set to take place in February and March 2026.
Users will be able to access digital resources online securely thanks to wired, wireless, and routing solutions.
Juniper’s platform is able to exploit data movement to ensure correct real-time response and provide a regular network.

“Additionally, Juniper will adopt a circular economy approach by collecting and recycling all equipment once the event is over. “Products will be returned to the manufacturing process as used goods through the partnership with Juniper.”
