FC Barcelona has made Iluminación Disano the latest partner of its sponsorship programme dedicated to the Espai Barça project.
Iluminación Disano, a Catalan company which specialises in the manufacture and design of lighting solutions, has signed on as the exclusive lighting supplier to Espai Barça for the six seasons through to the end of the 2030-31 campaign.
The alliance will focus on the incorporation of LED technology and smart control systems into the future Spotify Camp Nou. The Spanish LaLiga club said that by onboarding Disano this will ensure the very best lighting in a stadium that aspires to serve as an architectural benchmark, with its open, Mediterranean design, while preserving its historical heritage.
Disano will also aid the delivery of a new façade in the club colours that promises to be one of the main attractions when the new stadium opens.
Disano is fully aligned with the sustainability aspect of the future Camp Nou by offering products that will help to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions, therefore promoting the use of sustainable technologies.
Jordi Torrent, CEO of Iluminación Disano, said: “It is highly satisfying for Disano to participate in the project and execution of the new Spotify Camp Nou, which will be a world reference for its design, architecture and lighting and will provide Barcelona with a space that will become an icon of the city.
“Iluminación Disano, a Catalan company, is proud to be an active part of this project, incorporating the latest lighting technology.”
In April, FC Barcelona made vertical transportation and urban mobility company TK Elevator the first signing for a new partnership programme designed to attract firms operating in the B2B and B2C sectors to the Espai Barça venture.
The club has since agreed deals with the likes of EHEIM Möbel, Fortinet and ONCE, HPE and Figueras Seating.
Juli Guiu, vice-president of FC Barcelona’s marketing area, said: “The alliance with Iluminación Disano is one further step towards the club’s goal of equipping the future Spotify Camp Nou with all the latest technological advances, ensuring the very finest interior and exterior lighting on the façade of a stadium that aspires to serve as an architectural benchmark.
“Furthermore, its commitment to products that reduce energy consumption contributes to the more sustainable aspect of the project, one of the cornerstones of Espai Barça.”
