Spanish LaLiga club FC Barcelona has revealed that all the boxes and loge seats at the future Spotify Camp Nou have been sold as the new-look stadium prepares to partially reopen later this year.

The loge seats have been marketed in groups of four sofa-type seats and are located in the first VIP ring of the new stadium. Barcelona said that the majority of boxes and loge seats have been acquired on long-term contracts of between eight and 10 years.

With 95% of hospitality products launched so far having sold out, the club has revealed details of the players zone and pitch row seats in the first tier, balcony seats in the second tier, and premium seats in the first VIP ring. These seats have a price range of between €8,000 (£6,700/$8,700) and €22,000 per season.

A total of 9,400 hospitality seats will be made available. Together with new sponsorship agreements, Barcelona is expecting to generate around €120m of annual income.

Barcelona presented its hospitality vision for the revamped Camp Nou in October 2023, with a showroom set up at the stadium while building work is carried out. The club said at the time that the quality of the VIP offering at the new stadium will be “much higher” than at the old Camp Nou.

The Camp Nou’s overall capacity will expand from 98,000 to 105,000, with the project serving as the centrepiece of Barcelona’s wide-ranging Espai Barça venture. Barcelona is playing its home matches at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys while the work is carried out.

Earlier this month it emerged that Barcelona is planning on reopening the Camp Nou at a capacity of 64,000 in December, with the venue on track to be fully ready by 2026.

Although Joan Sentelles, director of operations at Espai Barça, conceded that there are “unforeseen circumstances” that the club cannot control, the aim is for the first and second tiers of the new-look stadium to be ready by December. A 64,000 capacity would represent around 60% of the stadium’s eventual overall capacity.

The Espai Barça project will also include a new Palau Blaugrana arena and the wide-ranging Campus Barça development. Work on the 15,000-seat Palau Blaugrana is set to take place from 2025 to 2027, with the Camp Nou viewed as a priority.
