Lancashire Cricket has appointed Justine Hewitt as the club’s new operations director at Emirates Old Trafford.

Hewitt (pictured) has spent over 20 years working in the industry and joins from Premier League football club Leicester City, where she has served as head of operations since April 2020.

Prior to joining Leicester, Hewitt spent a decade at the Coventry Building Society Arena, where her roles included major events and project manager, head of operations, and operations director. Hewitt has previous experience of working at Emirates Old Trafford after joining Lancashire as a freelance project manager for the 2013 Ashes Test at the venue.

Lancashire Cricket has also appointed Scott Tyldesley as head of safety and resilience. He joins the club from Wigan Athletic, where he has worked since April 2022.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has announced that Suki Kalirai will be appointed as the new chair of the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), with Shazia Hussain named chief executive.

Kalirai has previously held senior executive roles at Coca-Cola, Forte and Unilever. Hussain, currently deputy chief executive at the London Borough of Waltham Forest, will be taking on her new role in the autumn.

As part of the evolution, LLDC and its leadership will no longer have the strategic responsibility for London Stadium through its subsidiary, E20 Stadium LLP. From April, this company will sit outside of LLDC and will be a subsidiary of GLA Holdings, which is a wholly-owned company of the Greater London Authority.

The Mayor has also announced his intention to appoint current LLDC chief executive Lyn Garner as chair of the business. Garner will work alongside London Stadium chief executive Graham Gilmore.

LLDC was established to build on the success of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Australian ticketing company TEG has announced that Tim McGregor, managing director of TEG Live, has been appointed head of global touring to lead the promoter group across the business’ concert touring and festival portfolio.

McGregor has been managing director of TEG Live since joining the business in 2016. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the continued growth of global touring businesses across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, UK, Europe, and North America.
