Umpqua Bank has agreed a deal to sponsor the suite level at Lumen Field, home of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks have signed a multi-year deal with Umpqua Bank, which will also serve as the team’s official bank.
The company, which is headquartered in neighbouring Portland, will put its name to the Umpqua Bank Suite Level, marking the first time the stadium’s suite level has had an entitlement sponsor. The Seahawks’ radio network has also been rebranded as the Umpqua Bank Radio Network.
The deal has been signed ahead of the Seahawks’ first game of the new season against the Denver Broncos on September 8. Lumen Field also serves as the home of Major League Soccer team Seattle Sounders.
Amy Sprangers, chief revenue officer for the Seahawks, said: “The Seattle Seahawks and Umpqua Bank share a deep commitment to empower our local communities and bring people together in special and unique ways. We are excited to launch this partnership and celebrate the positive impact it will have for all our fans on game day and every day.”
Tory Nixon, president of Umpqua Bank, added: “As an iconic NFL franchise with a passionate fan base, the Seahawks are a big part of what makes the Pacific Northwest so special. We are thrilled to be named the official bank of the Seattle Seahawks organisation and look forward to sharing the gameday experience with members of our local community and the greatest NFL fans around.”
Earlier this year, the Seahawks announced plans to enhance the experience in the club level of Lumen Field as part of its ongoing Fanovation project. The stadium’s new T-Mobile Endzone, formerly known as the Ring of Honor Lounge, has undergone a full renovation during the offseason.
The T-Mobile Endzone will also feature a new premium area called The 1976 Club, which offers open-air semi-private loge boxes featuring heated, plush stadium seating and prime views of the field.
Lumen Field’s Fanovation project was announced in 2022 to coincide with the stadium’s 20th anniversary celebrations. Other upgrades have included the Tunnel Club experience, Cityside Bars, and Amazon Just Walk Out checkout-free locations.
Lumen Field will be a host venue during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place across the US, Canada and Mexico.
