The Toronto Blue Jays Major League Baseball team has announced plans for a new field-side corner club at Rogers Centre.

The space will open for the start of the 2025 season, offering what the Blue Jays claim will be a uniquely enhanced membership experience. It will be located in right field and feature “one-of-a-kind” views from field level, a private bar, food stalls with distinct offerings, and an open-air patio.

The club will be directly connected to season ticket member seats in the newly renovated right field seating bowl. The Blue Jays said the space will offer an “authentic sports bar” atmosphere.

Tickets will start at less than C$100 (£56/€67/$74) per game per seat. The final name and design of the new space will be released before the start of next season.

Earlier this year, the Blue Jays unveiled a reimagined 100 level seating bowl at Rogers Centre. The seating bowl was designed specifically for baseball viewing and marked a continuation of the team’s wide-ranging project to renovate the stadium.

Plans for the reimagined 100 level seating bowl were first announced in July last year. The previous bowl was fully demolished at the end of the 2023 season and was rebuilt for the 2024 campaign.

In July 2022, the Blue Jays announced a more than C$300m privately funded renovation, to be completed between 2024 and 2025, that will transform Rogers Centre from a stadium into a ballpark through a series of projects focused on modernising the fan experience and building world-class player facilities.

As well as the new seating bowl, the Blue Jays have introduced Outfield District social spaces and three sold-out premium club spaces over the past two seasons.

Rogers Centre was conceptualised as a multi-purpose stadium when it opened in 1989 and had not previously undergone a large-scale renovation in its history.
