Several venues across the NBA and NHL have announced upgrades for the 2024-25 season, including Bridgestone Arena, TD Garden, Smoothie King Center and KeyBank Center.

Bridgestone Arena, home of the NHL’s Nashville Predators, will debut a new premium club experience called the California Closets Studio. The exclusive 85-seat club is located on the second level of the arena, across the catwalk to the BetMGM Sports Lounge.

The Predators said the space will offer an “upscale, ever-evolving” menu featuring classic Caesar salad bowls, roasted beets, filet mignon, lamb chops, ahi tuna poke bowls and bacon-wrapped scallops.

Delaware North, which has been a concessions, restaurant and retail partner at Bridgestone Arena since 1996, has begun operating 68 suites for the new season, with offerings including a bourbon experience, smoked brisket, dessert cart and a barbecue board.

Elsewhere in the NHL, KeyBank Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres, has debuted a new videoboard that offers double the screen size of its predecessor.

A new roof has also been fitted at the arena during the offseason, with both renovations privately funded by the Pegula family, which owns the Sabres.

Other upgrades at KeyBank Center include enhanced food and beverage offerings such as The Dominator, a quadruple bacon cheeseburger that is named after former Sabres goaltender Dominik Hasek.

Meanwhile, TD Garden (pictured), home of the NHL’s Boston Bruins and the NBA’s Boston Celtics, has unveiled a range of new features and enhancements to elevate the fan experience.

Society Sips is a new bar located on the 500-suite level that will be accessible to all Boston Garden Society members. It will feature signature cocktails, premium spirits and a selection of beer and wine.

TD Garden will also open Provisions MRKT, a new upscale market offering canned beverages, packaged snacks and hot meals for fans on the go. The market will feature AI-powered self-checkout technology from Mashgin.

A specialty retail space, ShopSociety, will also open at TD Garden showcasing premium brands, exclusive collaborations and pop-up events for members only. Other additions at TD Garden will include a FanCam on Level 7 and a host of new food offerings.

In other news, Smoothie King Center, home of the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans, will debut a newly renovated HUB Club level seating area.

The HUB Club will serve as a social gathering space on the suite level of Smoothie King Center and will accommodate over 150 guests.

Renovations to the HUB Club are scheduled for completion in December. HUB International is the exclusive insurance brokerage of the Pelicans.
