Tepper Sports & Entertainment, which owns the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and Major League Soccer team Charlotte FC, has announced Kristi Coleman as its new chief executive.

Coleman (pictured) will oversee all TSE business operations and will retain her position as president of the Panthers. She will report directly to TSE owner and executive chairman David Tepper.

TSE has also announced several organisational restructurings. The company will align all revenue-producing departments under the newly established role of chief revenue officer, reporting directly to Coleman.

TSE will also establish a newly created chief business officer role for Charlotte FC. Joe LaBue will transition into a consultant role and the chief business officer will report directly to Coleman. Natalee Jarrett, vice-president of business operations at Charlotte FC, will act as interim business lead for the club during the search.

David Nelson is being promoted into a new role of vice-president of premium sales and services, leading the strategy and development related to premium hospitality and business solutions across the Panthers, Charlotte FC and Bank of America Stadium. Bonnie Almond is also being elevated to vice-president of venue operations, reporting to chief venues officer Caroline Wright.

Todd Greenberg, the former chief executive of the NRL, has been appointed as the new chief executive of Cricket Australia.

Greenberg also worked as general manager of Sydney’s Accor Stadium and most recently served as chief executive of the Australian Cricketers’ Association.

He will succeed current Cricket Australia chief executive Nick Hockley, who announced in August that he would leave the position at the end of the domestic summer in March.

The Washington Commanders NFL team has named Mark Clouse as its new president.

Clouse will oversee all facets of the Commanders’ business operations and joins the team from The Campbell’s Company, where he served as president and chief executive since 2019. Clouse will begin his new role in late January.

NASCAR has appointed Craig Stimmel as senior vice-president and chief commercial officer.

Stimmel will oversee all sales aspects for NASCAR, including premier partner and official partner categories, race entitlements, track partnerships and media sales across owned channels such as Motor Racing Network and NASCAR Digital Media.

Stimmel previously led global sales and partnerships for WWE and held a similar role at Snapchat. He also held a leadership role in brand marketing at Procter & Gamble, and most recently served as senior vice-president of commercial for Formula 1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.
